Past Workshops, Exhibitions and Residencies

Dan continues to inspire artists, teachers and students around the world in workshops where he demonstrates
how to make Solarplates and printing both intaglio and relief plates.

As an original pioneer of safer and greener methods, he has been in the forefront of printmaking without the
use of acids or other dangerous chemicals.

During Dan Welden’s 50+ year career as an artist and master printmaker, he has shown his work in more than
80 solo exhibits, and in over 600 group exhibitions across the United States and in many other countries.
Below you will find a forward calendar of exhibitions and workshops.

Note: Once enrolled in a workshop, there is a 25% discount offered on pre-ordered Solarplates and also on

orders of plates up to 10 days post workshop at http://solarplate.com/
