Eric FischlBorn in 1948 in New York, Eric Fischl grew up in Suburban Long Island. He began his studies in art in Phoenix, Arizona, and received a B.F.A. from the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California. He now lives in New York City with his wife, the painter April Gornik.
